Many people are taking notice of the constant changes that occurs in our atmosphere. It is not uncommon nowadays to have heavy rainfall in the morning and really hot afternoon. These changes are becoming much more evident that people are now taking actions to know more about our weather. Studies, researches and documentaries were created to help us understand and educate people.
The word weather and climate are often mistaken as one and the same, the two are actually different but related at the same time. The term weather refers to the condition of the atmosphere which includes temperature, precipitation and others, while climate on the other hand is the expected weather during a phase or time. That is to say that the thing that people are expecting to happen is what you call the climate and what happens is the weather.
The bodily or physical structures of our surroundings or weather systems are manifested through hurricanes and typhoons which are considered to be tropical cyclones. Cyclones are strong wind that occurs in areas with low pressure which can cause damage and destruction.
As we all know these hurricanes and storms can de destructive and can destroy lives. Though it is impossible to stop this things from happening the only thing that we can d is to prepare for it. Monitoring and staying informed through radios and television is the best way to know if there is a hurricane coming to your area especially if you are living in a storm prone place. Always follow the advisory being given. The people giving advices know what is happening and have knowledge in what he or she is saying. Stay indoors and do not go out during hurricanes and storms. Flying debris and strong wind can injure and hurt you. Do not forget to pack emergency bags or kits beforehand to help you through the entire event. The bag should have flashlights, canned goods, water and medicines for wounds and other first aid stuff that you might need like bandages. Installing of hurricane windows or shutters can help you a lot in times like this since it can withstand strong wind and rain. Also do not forget to stay in a place in your house where you feel that you are safe the most and do not litter and walk around the house. You and your family need to stay close at all times and avoid touching broken glasses or wires.
Many believe that that the main cause of different phenomenon in the atmosphere is the weather fronts. Fronts are described as the border lines or margins of different masses of air in the atmosphere. These differences include the temperature and the humidity. Thuderstorms and harsh weather are experienced in cold fronts while the warm fronts bring about fog and precipitation in the area.
The workings of the nature are hard to understand. There are increasing numbers of people being interested in this field. The more we take notice of these events the more knowledgeable and sensitive we become. There is no better way of studying our weather than the combination of human knowledge and the technology that modern science provides.
