The primary culprit that is causing the current ecological problem is the human being. There are two primary opinions, the one being that it's the result of the ignorance of men and women, the other that we've been deceived by large businesses. Reality is, much squandering and misuse of natural resources is something people are generally guilty of. The nature of things is, unfortunately, that the general public normally swallows the tale put out by the powers that be. Although much of the ecological balance has been hit by global warming, the impact on the ecology can be lowered by people by taking certain alternatives.

By implementing some of the green movement's tenets, much progress can be made. There is no plausible cure for our environmental problems other than going green. Alas, all the current damage cannot be overturned, but at least further damage can be stopped and the impending disaster mostly deflected. To keep the crisis from growing worse, individuals can begin using products and procedures that are eco-friendly. If we would like the environment to be cleaner and greener, there are a number of things that are non-negotiable.

The list includes utilization of green waste, not consuming meat, buying locally grown food and discarding the old "use it, throw it away" mindset. Nearly everyone could do all of those things by simply choosing to do them. In addition, balancing the ecological system can be accomplished by taking the proper steps to wisely utilizing water and electricity. The most crucial element causing the environmental fix we're in is the great amounts of CO2 gas that have been spewed into the atmosphere. The situation is exacerbated by the latest proliferation of mechanized means of production, in mills and on farms, all dependent on fuel or electricity and adding to the carbon emissions problem.

As a result of this crisis, there are dearths in both food and water, extreme weathers, and also other natural calamities. All the signals point to a declining situation, calling for aggressive intervention to arrest the decay. One of the most essential things for today is to convince people to do green living. The focus has to be on starting the process, getting more and more individuals started on the green path, with easy steps, which will build the needed momentum. The media is apparently best-placed to take on the job of persuading the masses that any step towards greener living is notable and will make a huge impact.

As this could be the last method that can be used, it is up to every individual to take some responsibility by living wisely. To prevent the slide towards desperation and misery, we have to develop a sense of right and wrong regarding the effect our actions have on the earth. The very survival of our world surely depends on the masses accepting responsibility for their individual roles in the overall effort to resolve the environmental crisis. Unless there is a revolutionary divergence from the present ways of the world, there is no hope for the succeeding generation.
