11: Many Men And Women Tend To Be Wondering If Solar Energy Is Actually A Cost Effective Choice
Just about everyone has heard about solar energy and recognize it's great for the environment, but lots of people don't know the reason. There are lots of benefits associated with solar energy, however there are also a few bad things which you need to know prior to spending in it.
12: How the Destruction of the Ozone Layer Impacts the Planet
Given that the holes in the Earth's ozone layer are concentrated around the poles, far from where most humans live, it seems that the ozone layer depletion is a problem that doesn't call for an urgent solution. In reality, the weakening of the Earth's protection from radiation has implications that spread across the planet. The ozone layer's depletion causes many environment issues that ultimately affect every inhabitant on Earth.
13: Tips On Leaving Global Warming Out In The Cold
According to experts, even though global warming is an urgent problem, every American can take concrete steps in order to be part of the solution. Every day, there are so many things we do that use energy which is why we have a lot of opportunities every day to make a difference.
14: Effortless Energy-Saving Tips To Reduce Your Electricity Bill
The depletion of energy is some of the biggest concerns these days. We should all seek to save electricity by making a serious effort of concerned and conscious citizens. We have become so used to having electric power that we take it for granted until something causes it to go out.
15: Are You Prepared To Survive The Coming Food Crisis
It goes without saying that when hurricanes and other natural disasters occur these can result in food shortages which can last for extended periods depending on the population numbers directly affected and the resultant shortages experienced by the rest of the population. It is no wonder that the first instinct of people is to beg, steal or borrow to feed their families in times when disaster strikes unless they have prepared in advance for such food shortages.
16: Life Off The Grid
You can live off the grid. You only have to have the grid to buy electricity if you cannot generate your own. Living on the grid has made too many of us lose our self-sufficiency. We slavishly buy energy off the big providers and pay through the nose for it at the end of the month.
17: In What Ways Is Planetary Warming Influencing The Earth's Wild Animals?
To be in a position to understand how dangerous global warming may be to the planet, we first must understand just how intricately our surroundings works. Our ecology on this planet is a really precise operation, as an example, fish feed at the coral reefs in the oceans and if those reefs begin to disappear (as they are) then that will affect the fish that feed there, most likely causing whole species to die out.
18: What's The Kyoto Protocol, and Should You Even Be Concerned?
The Kyoto Protocol was the first attempt to get a grip on the planetary warming problem. It was brought about by an offshoot of the UN called the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. I know, it's a mouthful so we'll call it the UNFCCC. The protocol was at first brought into being and adopted on December 11, 1997 but was not brought into force till 2005. The reason why it took so long for it to take action was due it requiring 55 parties to ratify the protocol. Russia was the last one to do it and make it all official.

20: Is Going Green The One Answer For Our Ecological Crisis?
The primary culprit that is causing the current ecological problem is the human being. There are two primary opinions, the one being that it's the result of the ignorance of men and women, the other that we've been deceived by large businesses. Reality is, much squandering and misuse of natural resources is something people are generally guilty of. The nature of things is, unfortunately, that the general public normally swallows the tale put out by the powers that be. Although much of the ecological balance has been hit by global warming, the impact on the ecology can be lowered by people by taking certain alternatives.
