Many people are convinced of the idea to go green energy, but they be held back by the fact that they dont know how.

Looking to the law of thermodynamics will illuminate us as to how we can go green energy. Put very simply, energy exists in many forms which include solar, chemical and electrical energy. What a lot of people do not realize however, is that the energy remains the same. The change is to various forms. It will never be destroyed.

There is another law of thermodynamics which states that when energy is converted, it is downgraded in the process. This process in the scientific world is called "entropy."

You may wonder. Why, are these laws important for me? Surely, the bricks and mortar of my house are my only concern.

However, if you have finally decided that the only logical thing to do is to go green energy, these are all factors that must be taken into consideration.

For example, an electrically-heated home is not nearly as as energy efficient as a home with siphons energy from the sun. The burning of fossil-fuel energy occurs when we have an electrically-heated home. It has been said that almost 85% of the potential energy of the coal is being lost through transportation, refinement, generation, transmission and transformation by the time it reaches the place that you live in! This is something worthwhile pondering.

What is more, it is a fact that the resources of fossil fuels are rapidly decreasing. That's really enough to make one nervous! The solution is to go green energy and resort to one of its sources, e.g. solar power. Other types of renewable energy are also available of course, such as wind power. The blowing wind, has also been utilized for centuries by human kind, and to great advantage.

The conversion of solar power, however, is unlike electricity and it eliminates many conversion steps.

Insulation of windows and the installation of solar panels is effortless and possible to make your home more energy-efficient. To go green energy, the bottom line is to resolve to install solar panels in your home. The point is to decide to take action now.
