Solar power has been around for a long time. First revealed in 1838 by Edmund Becquerel, the first panels were produced in the 1950s. The highest amount of panels being used are in this state. The look of the NJ solar panel is causing some dialogue, but the general consensus is that it is a good project.

The rates in this state are among the highest in the nation. The logic is that because of this fact it is simply good business to use this kind of power. Having lower electric bills is a definite plus. Clean, efficient, and maintenance free energy is the goal. The sun has proven that it can produce that and a lot of it. In face the sun generates more energy that coal, oil, and gas combined.
Light and heat are the two forms of energy that the sun produces, and that is where we get the name solar energy. We can use this energy passively or actively. Putting up panels and directing the radiation from the sun is the active approach. When the sun comes through our windows on a sunny day that just the natural the energy is used, and that is passively collecting the power.
NJ has the most homes using energy powered by the sun than any other state. It is because of the demographics that NJ is considered the best state to use this kind of power. The state has taken an aggressive approach to offering benefits to those who use solar power.
The panels are actually very easy to set up and maintenance equally as easy. The result of the benefits of solar power and the incentives that the state offers, the values of homes are much better. Homes and businesses can be run more efficiently and the environment is protected.
The military is using solar panels at their training locations. The National Guard has put them on the roof of one of those facilities. As a result, they have almost cut their electric in half. The benefits are enormous and the savings are great.
The state government has put in place solar, renewable, energy certificates commonly known as SREC. These certificates get created each time a megawatt hour of electricity is generated. Each time a consumer receives one of these certificates, their electricity bill is reduced. This enables homeowners and businesses to take advantage of this and get some additional money.
Also, lowered percentage rates of up to 30 percent are applied to their Federal Income Tax. When you have the rights over the electric that you can produce, you can see the results in lowered monthly bills. The Garden State understands the importance of improving the efficiency of energy consumption and they are taking the lead. NJ is forging ahead to a better environment through solar energy.
